Here are a few simple gestures you can make on a daily basis to help us in this process:
- Before leaving your rental property, remember to turn off the air conditioning and lights to limit unnecessary energy consumption.
- Take advantage of unused water from the shower or sink to water plants around you, for example, while you wait for it to warm up. A bucket or basin is available in your home.
- Keep your water consumption reasonable: when showering or brushing your teeth, turn off the water between washing and rinsing.
- When you take away food from the campsite restaurant, remember to bring your own containers to avoid using disposable crockery and reduce packaging. And for those with a sweet tooth, you’ll have more !
- Opt for soft mobility by leaving your car at rest and taking advantage of nearby shops on foot, by bike or by bus. You can pick up a booklet listing all the local producers in the region at reception, as well as public transport timetables to help you get around without a car.
